A proper seat height stabilizes your ergonomic experience. The ideal height is achieved when the seat cushion rests just below the bend of your knee; this supports your legs and creates a sturdy foundation for the rest of your body.
With no weight on the seat cushion, pull the paddle up to increase the height of your seat cushion in relation to the ground.
To lower the seat height, pull the paddle up and place pressure on the seat cushion.
To successfully adjust your IRON HORSE 2000 Series to fit your specific body type, the first step is to adjust the backrest tilt to your preference.
To recline backrest, pull lever up and apply pressure on backrest until desired position is achieved. Release lever to lock backrest in place.
To return backrest to upright position, pull lever up with no pressure placed on the backrest. Release lever to lock backrest in place.
The air adjustable lumbar provides support for your lower back. An ideal setting will promote good posture by supporting the natural inward curvature of the spine.
Sit firmly with your back planted against the backrest. Squeeze air lumbar bulb to fill the bow-tie lumbar with air until the desired pressure is obtained.
To release the bow-tie lumbar chamber of air, press the button located to the side of the air lumbar bulb.
The tilt mechanism tilts the entire upper portion of your IRON HORSE Office Chair within a 24° axis. This is designed to reduce the pressure on discs and muscles, allowing you to maximize your ergonomic experience. The tilt tension lock provides you seven different positions to of tilt recline to lock your chair into.
Press button to lock the tilt mechanism into place. There are seven different locking positions and a total of 24° of recline.
Press button again to unlock the tilt mechanism to its natural, free moving state.
The tilt mechanism tilts the entire upper portion of your IRON HORSE Office Chair within a 24° axis. This is designed to reduce the pressure on discs and muscles, allowing you to maximize your ergonomic experience. The tilt tension adjustment knob increases or decreases the tension involved in this maneuver.
To increase the tension in the tilt mechanism, carefully place the chair on its side and use two hands to rotate the tilt tension adjustment knob clockwise when you are facing the chair.
To decrease the tension in the tilt mechanism, rotate tilt tension adjustment knob counter-clockwise when you are facing the chair.
Both the Traditional and Deluxe Comfort Headrest allow for height adjustment at
different locking levels. The Deluxe Comfort Headrest offers an infinite range of angled positions to fully support the neck and shoulder areas.
Lift to raise the headrest. Height will lock into desired position. Press button and push headrest down to lower.
Apply pressure to the front portion of the Deluxe Comfort Headrest to raise or lower to fit your liking. Only for chairs equipped with the Deluxe Comfort Headrest.
Armrests support the weight of your arms, removing stress from your shoulders and upper arms. The 2D Armrest is height adjustable while the 4D Armrest is height, width and angle adjustable.
For both 2D & 4D Armrests: Push and hold button to raise or lower armrest.
For 4D Armrests only:Hold lever and rotate armrest cushion for full 360° articulation.
Push armrest in or out to freely adjust the width.
Armrests support the weight of your arms, removing stress from your shoulders and upper arms. The HD Tilt-Up Armrest allows you to adjust the angle that it rests at, you can even raise it completely out of your way.
To adjust the angle that the armrest will rest at, place your armrest at its desired angle and spin the wheel (located underneath the armrest) towards the inside of the chair to tighten the armrest into position.
To adjust the position of the armrest, spin the wheel towards the outside of the chair.
